Dogs on Mars Print

The original artwork was painted around 2024, during the peak of SpaceX and Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency that became closely associated with Elon Musk online.

I was exploring the idea of what a “normal” human life on Mars might look like. Perhaps the environment would cause some form of mutation in the local dog population, creating a bluish hue in their coats. This draws on the myth that radiation from Chernobyl caused the local dog population to develop a bluish-green hue.
